I've become too lazy to actually write anything...but here are some pictures from the trip with took with Sabine to visit her friend Annick and the Cote D'Azure..... Cliquez ici!A grand time was had by all in our 3 days there....one day in Nice, one shopping just over the border in Vingtmille (??) Italy, and one in Cannes. We had great meals Chez Annick and her copain Michel every night (Michel is a very, very, good cook!) and ate at a wonderful restaurant in the village of Biot called the "Pierre du Four" (meaning oven stone, more or less) where I had really wonderful moule (mussels) grilled and smoked over pine needles! Snow Day!!A few days after returning from the temperate
Cote D'Azure we woke up to a yard entirely covered in snow. It snowed
all day, but was followed by rain the second day, so alas (I guess) it
all melted away, and I wasn't able to get any pictures of La Cité
in the snow. Tant pis....(too bad, so much the worse, etc. etc.) Around this time I finally started staying home (!!) and painting a bit. You can look at my new works at LASART.NET if you are so inclined. |
